We'll apply the stain colors during our first sanding, so you can see what the color will look like before you make a decision.

Once you choose the stain color you like, we'll sand your floor to remove all other stain colors.

The process of floor sanding and refinishing takes three days to complete and includes three coats of polyurethane. A 500-square-foot home can be stained in one day with the first coat, a second coat on the second day, and a third coat on the third day.

Using Commercial-Grade Products

At Precision Hardwood Flooring, we use commercial-grade DuraSeal polyurethane stains. DuraSeal also sells water-based stains with no odor - a product that was used in the White House for years.

We also use Street Shoe products that are water based and resist marking. Street Shoe stains are applied in two stages.
